Wessel Janse van Rensburg

I am a creative technologist: I work out what new technology means, and then I build with it.

I trained in law and have worked at South Africa’s Truth Commission, as a journalist, as a product manager at Lycos Europe, as a creative technologist at Reach, as head of C-suite communications at Santander, and as a founder of two start-ups.

That mix is the job now: reading the code, the balance sheet and the regulation together, and saying plainly what they add up to. I build with AI coding agents inside a workspace of my own tools. I work from The Hague and London.
